About StoriqueHouse
We are an independent publishing house for writers who refuse to disappear into the noise — and for readers who can tell the difference.
StoriqueHouse began with a stubborn idea: that a serious book still deserves serious people behind it. Somewhere along the way, publishing turned into a numbers game — more titles, thinner attention, authors handed a template and wished good luck. We wanted to build the opposite of that.
So we made a house small enough to care and capable enough to deliver. We read every manuscript ourselves. We shape each book with a working editor, dress it with a designer who reads it first, and send it into the world with a launch that was actually planned. Fewer titles, more craft — that trade is the whole point.
Every voice is worth hearing out. A rough draft is not a verdict. Our job is to find the book inside the pages and help it stand up straight.
Authors keep their voice. Editing sharpens a manuscript; it should never sand it down into someone else's idea of the market.
Standards protect writers. When we vouch for a book, our name is on it too — so we hold the work, and ourselves, to a real bar.
How We Work
We read your full submission ourselves and respond with a clear, honest assessment — what's working, what isn't, and whether we're the right house for it.
Paired with an editor, you move through developmental and line editing at a pace that respects the book. Nothing gets rushed to hit an arbitrary date.
Cover, interior, and format come together into a finished object — designed, typeset, proofed, and produced to a standard you'll be proud to sign.
We launch the book and keep pushing after release — reviews, features, and reader outreach that treat publication day as a beginning, not a finish line.
Let's Begin
We'd like to read it. Start with the submission guidelines, or reach out with a question first.
